MEDIUM VOLTAGE COVERED CONDUCTORS (MVCC)
“Gemscab” make, Stranded round non compacted conductor (AAAC/ ACSR/ AL-7/ AL-59), Extruded longitudinally water blocking layer applied over the center strand of conductor, Non magnetic screening by extruded semiconducting compound, XLPE insulated and Outer covered with Tracking Resistance & UV resistant XLPE, 11/22/33/66 KV grade conductor.
Applicable Standards : SS-EN 50397-1, BS EN 50182, IS 398-2, IS 398-4, IEC 61089, IS 10418, SS 4240813, SS 4240814
Construction :
>> Conductor: Longitudinally water tight ACSR/AAAC/AL-7/AL59 or high temperature conductor
>> Conductor Screen: Water swellable semi-conducting tape (if required) and extruded semi-conducting compound
>> Inner Insulation: XL PE
>> Outer Insulation: UV protected and anti-tracking black coloured XLPE / HDPE
>> Conductor screen, inner insulation and outer insulation coextruded and bonded together.
